crosswalkMake your stay in Germany safe — follow the simple traffic rules.

Difficulty Level: Easy

Time Required: 30 sec

Here’s How:

  1. Be sure to choose a zebra crossing for walking across the street.
  2. Wait for the little green man on the traffic-light to show you when to walk.
  3. Look to the left.
  4. Look to the right.
  5. Go!

Tips:

  1. Wait for the green traffic light even when you know it would be safe to cross.
  2. Please remember that German drivers are rather ruthless, so better give way if in doubt.
  3. Remember, pedestrians have the right of way in Germany, but you should clearly show that you want to cross the street.
