Complex World Of Germany: Cultural Heritage

Brandenburg-gate

Switch on Deutschland – complexity and exactness are reflected in its name as well as in its sound like in the mirror. Complexity is a peculiarity of German Culture, too.

This country has given a number of prominent people to the world: Goethe and Hitler, Dietrich and Bismarck, Einstein and Honecker. Militancy and arrogance are mingled with fine intellect and graceful beauty. High technologies get on with adherence to old-time traditions, resolute standing to one’s colors – with love of fun holidays, overall devotion to beer – with no less devotion to wine. These points define the unique face of German Culture and make it a broad and rich topic for investigation.

Like most countries of the world, Germany is perceived with a set of stereotypes formed regarding its past and present. What kind of people are Aryans? Belligerent and superior, or kind and friendly? Do Germans usually walk around in Lederhosen drinking beer? Is the life of German women really tied to the famous four K’s: Kirche, Kueche, Kinder, Kleider? Answers to these and lots of other questions you can find here. This site exists to offer a balanced look at one of the world’s most significant cultures.

The wealth of different info on German Culture and its numerous aspects is compiled right here!
